Description
The tube is made of polypropylene (PP) and has a transparent color. It is equipped with a flat bottom and has a maximum filling capacity of 5ml. The tube has a diameter of 16.00 mm (+/- 0.2 mm) and a height of 54.00 mm (+/- 0.2 mm) without the screw cap. The screw cap is made of polyethylene (PE) and has a white color. The tube is designed for temperatures between -20°C to +121°C and has a maximum RCF of 3,000g. It is autoclavable up to a temperature of 121°C, without the lid.
The tube is biologically inert and physiologically safe. It does not contain heavy metals according to EC/94/62 and can be stored for 60 months if stored properly.
The tube is ideal for storage of samples in research, analytics, diagnostics or medical laboratories. Storage should be in a dry environment at a relative humidity of 40-60% and a temperature of +10°C to +30°C.
