Description
The transparent cap for 0.1mL and 0.2mL nominal volume PCR reaction tubes is a high quality laboratory accessory specially designed for polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The cap features a domed design and is supplied in a convenient strip of 12 to allow for efficient handling and sealing of the samples in the tubes.
The transparent lid allows a clear view of the samples in the PCR reaction tubes, ensuring easy observation and monitoring of the PCR process.
Made from high-quality polypropylene (PP), the lid is biologically inert and physiologically harmless. It meets the highest quality standards and is PCR-ready so that it is ideal for your PCR experiments and does not cause any unwanted interactions with the samples.
The lid meets the requirements of the EC/94/62 directive and does not contain any heavy metals. The raw material used complies with the regulations for food contact according to regulation EC 1935/2004.
In addition, the lid is free of PCR inhibitors, human DNA and RNA, DNase, RNase, pyrogens and endotoxins. This ensures precise and reproducible PCR analysis and minimizes the risk of contamination.
The lid is exceptionally temperature resistant and can withstand temperatures from -80°C to 121°C. It is autoclavable up to a temperature of 121°C, which enables reliable and efficient sterilization.
