The PCR plate np X-FRAME, 96x0.1 ml, is a high-quality laboratory accessory designed specifically for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) applications. With its low-profile design and yellow color, it ensures easy handling and clear visual differentiation, while its durable construction guarantees precise PCR results.
Manufactured from a combination of polycarbonate (PC) for the plate and polypropylene (PP) for the wells, the PCR plate is biologically inert and physiologically safe. It is "PCR-ready," making it ideal for demanding experiments, as it prevents unwanted interactions with samples. The plate complies with the EC/94/62 directive and is free of heavy metals. Additionally, the materials used are certified for food contact in accordance with EC Regulation 1935/2004.
The PCR plate is free of PCR inhibitors, human DNA and RNA, DNase, RNase, pyrogens, and endotoxins. These features ensure precise and reproducible PCR analyses while minimizing the risk of contamination. It withstands temperatures ranging from -80°C to 121°C and is autoclave-safe up to 121°C, enabling reliable sterilization. With a maximum centrifugal force of 3,000 g, it is also suitable for demanding laboratory environments.
The dimensions of the plate meet ANSI/SLAS 1 & 4 standards, measuring 127.76 mm (+/- 0.5 mm) in length and 85.48 mm (+/- 0.5 mm) in width. The shelf life of the plate is 60 months under controlled storage conditions. It is recommended to store the product in its original packaging in a dry environment with 40% to 60% relative humidity and at a temperature between +2°C and +30°C.
