Description
The adhesive sealing film with 96 non-adhesive zones is an innovative accessory for your laboratory experiments and PCR analyses. With a material thickness of 70 µm, it offers a reliable seal and ensures precise results for your samples. The transparent sealing film has been specially developed for 96-well plates with an 8 x 12 matrix and has 96 transparent and non-adhesive zones, one over each well.
The sealing film has the dimensions:
• Length: 142.90mm (+/- 0.2mm)
• Width: 79.40mm (+/- 0.2mm)
The top of the film is made of high quality polyethylene (PE) and is clear, while the bottom is made of white polypropylene (PP). The two films are bonded together by a double-sided acrylic adhesive that ensures a strong yet flexible bond. The film is extremely temperature-resistant and can be used in the range from -40°C to +90°C.
The adhesive sealing film is biologically inert and physiologically safe, making it safe to use in laboratory environments. It is compliant with regulation EC/94/62 and free from heavy metals, ensuring the safety of your samples and applications.
The film is of the highest purity and free from PCR inhibitors, human DNA, RNA, DNase, RNase, pyrogens and endotoxins. This avoids contamination of the samples and achieves reliable results in your PCR analyses.
A special feature of this sealing film is the 96 adhesive-free zones, which are arranged above each cavity. These zones enable easy and precise sampling as the tip of the pipette can be easily pierced through the foil without adhesive residue affecting the pipette tips.
The shelf life of the goods is 36 months under controlled storage conditions.
It is recommended to keep the original packaging in a dry environment with a relative humidity of 40% to 60% at a storage temperature between +2°C and max. +30°C.
