Description
The polypropylene (PP) PCR reaction tubes offer a reliable solution for your PCR applications. With a nominal volume of 0.5 ml and an attached flat and frosted lid, these tubes are ideal for storing and performing PCR reactions. The transparent design allows for easy visual inspection and identification of the samples.
The dimensions of the reaction vessels are an outside diameter of 7.80 mm (+/- 0.2 mm) and an inside diameter of 7.10 mm (+/- 0.2 mm). The height of the jar without the lid is 30.50 mm (+/- 0.2 mm), and with the closed lid it reaches a height of 32.00 mm (+/- 0.2 mm).
The PCR tubes have been carefully designed to meet the highest quality standards. They are biologically inert and physiologically harmless, making them safe for use in laboratory applications. In addition, they are free of heavy metals according to regulation EC/94/62 and meet the requirements for food contact according to regulation EC 1935/2004.
These tubes are particularly suitable for PCR applications as they are free from PCR inhibitors, human DNA and RNA, DNase, RNase, pyrogens and endotoxins. This ensures precise and reliable PCR results without unwanted contamination.
The PCR reaction tubes can be autoclaved at a temperature of -80°C to +121°C and are also suitable for centrifugation applications with a maximum RCF (relative centrifugal force) of 14,000g.
The shelf life of the goods is 60 months under controlled storage conditions.
It is recommended to keep the original packaging in a dry environment with a relative humidity of 40% to 60% at a storage temperature between +2°C and max. +30°C.
