Description
The micro-screw tube PP with standing rim is a high-quality laboratory container specially designed for storing and transporting samples in medical, biological and chemical laboratories. It is made of durable polypropylene (PP) and comes with a screw cap made of PP that contains an O-ring. The tube is in natural colour, while the transparent lid allows easy visual inspection.
With a nominal volume of 1.5 ml, the PP micro screw tube offers sufficient space for small samples, while the robust polypropylene ensures excellent chemical resistance. It is suitable for a temperature range of -196°C to 121°C, allowing safe storage and handling in a variety of environments.
The micro-screw tube is equipped with a conical bottom, making it suitable for centrifugation, and can withstand a maximum relative centrifugal acceleration (RCF) of 20,000g. This allows efficient separation of samples in the centrifuge without damaging the tube. It is also RNase and DNase free and pyrogen free to ensure the integrity and quality of your samples.
The shelf life of the product is 60 months with controlled storage.
It is recommended to keep the original packaging in a dry environment with a relative humidity of 40% to 60% at a storage temperature between +2°C and max. +30°C.
