Description
The GREEN SWAB with Amies is a high quality medical device offering safe and hygienic specimen collection intended for single use. It consists of a tube containing a liquid medium and a flocked swab with a nylon head (oral), both sterilized. The liquid medium is suitable for collecting and transporting microbiological samples.
The tube has a length of 82.6 mm and a diameter of 13 mm, with a cap diameter of 16.6 mm. The swab stick is 150mm long (with a tolerance of +/- 0.3mm) and has diameters of 2.55mm and 1.75mm (with a tolerance of +/- 0.15mm). The diameter of the swab head is 3.5mm and its length is 16.5mm. In addition, the rod has a breaking point at 30 mm and at 80 mm.
The tube is made of polypropylene (PP) while the cap is made of polyethylene (PE). The swab stick is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer (ABS) and the swab head is made of nylon. These materials ensure safe and reliable use of the product.
